The AMP-DANTE4 adds a Dante network input to the AMP150.4H, AMP300.4H and AMP500.4H amplifiers. The amplifier’s four channels then receive their sources directly over the installation network, with no audio line to run to the rack. Signal routing is handled in Dante Controller, and the card is set to DHCP by default.

Serious network integration.

An on-board Audinate Ultimo 4 × 4 microprocessor handles local control and processing, for up to 4 × 4 channels at 48 kHz in 32 bits per sample. Two 100 Mbps RJ45 ports allow a redundant network connection via switch, with a low-jitter on-board clock and hardware audio metering. The software is upgraded directly over the network.

Installation without touching the speaker wiring.

The card fits inside the amplifier, with no change to the wiring towards the speakers: with the amplifier disconnected from the mains, replace the small rear plate with the one supplied, remove the top cover, insert the card and secure it to the chassis, connect the ribbon cable and the ground cable, then close the cover. Never connect both ports to the same switch without VLAN configuration.

Four independent channels each deliver up to 150 W on a 70 V or 100 V line, with an independent voltage selector per channel at the rear and a per-channel volume control on the front panel.

Priority and supervision built in.
Beyond amplification, the AMP150.4H carries control logic designed for day-to-day operation: a priority TEST input, triggered by a dry contact on the PRI terminal, instantly switches an announcement across every zone. The FAIL (5 V fault output) and DIS (disable) contacts report the amplifier’s state to an external supervision system, useful wherever a failure has to be detected remotely.

Measurable sound quality.
THD+N below 0.1 % keeps the signal faithful even at full output, with no audible colouration on speech or on music. A signal-to-noise ratio above 95 dB lets silence stay silent between two announcements. A damping factor above 200 keeps the driver under control for a well-defined result, including at the far end of a 100 V line.

Eight zones, a single 1U unit.
The AMP150.8H meets a specific need: providing sound to a large number of small, independent zones without having to use multiple amplifiers. Schools, multi-department stores, office buildings with numerous offices or hallways: wherever the number of zones takes precedence over power per zone, the AMP150.8H packs eight amplified channels into a single 1U rack unit weighing 5 kg.

Eight channels, total control.
Each channel delivers 150 W on a 70 V or 100 V line, with independent voltage selection per channel on the rear panel. Level adjustment is performed channel by channel, also on the rear panel, for precise calibration of each zone without affecting the others. Note: The 150 W per channel rating applies when the unit is not under full load; when all eight channels are driven simultaneously, each delivers up to 135 W RMS. Three LED indicators per channel (signal, clip, protection) provide immediate visual feedback on the status of each line, which is useful for both operation and maintenance.

Measurable sound quality.
