A subwoofer built for professional gigs.
The CARBON18ASub rounds out the CARBON series on the low end, covering 30Hz to 110Hz with a max SPL of 135dB. An 18-inch woofer (4-inch voice coil, 95.6oz magnet) delivers punchy, precise low end, housed in a 15mm reinforced plywood cabinet finished with scratch-resistant textured polyurea, built to take the knocks of a working rig night after night.

Get the best out of your satellites.
The CARBON18ASub’s Thru HPF (high-pass filter) output sends the satellite speakers a signal already stripped of low frequencies, adjustable up to 100Hz. The satellites are then only asked to reproduce what they’re meant to, while the sub handles the entire low end: less strain on their drivers, more usable headroom, and a tighter, cleaner system overall through the mids and highs.

A DSP built for live setup.
The onboard amp module (1000W RMS, 2000W peak) runs a full DSP, controllable either from the front-panel LCD or the CARBONcontrol app. Delay adjustment (up to 340ms) to time-align the sub with the satellite speakers, plus a low-pass filter adjustable from 40 to 100Hz on the sub itself. Cardioid mode (front or rear), available when pairing two subs, cuts the low end sent toward the stage or the audience depending on placement, a genuine tool for shaping a room’s acoustics with nothing extra to carry.

One app, your whole CARBON fleet.
The CARBONcontrol app (iOS and Android) drives every speaker and sub in the CARBON series alike: CARBON12A, CARBON15A, CARBON15ASub and CARBON18ASub all connect to the same interface, no need to switch tools between models. And if you’re running several units, one app is all it takes to manage your entire fleet: each speaker and sub shows up individually, with remote access to every DSP setting, including ones the onboard LCD doesn’t expose.

Connections and power chaining.
Two mic/line inputs on COMBO jacks (XLR or 1/4″), two XLR outputs to feed additional speakers or a mixing console. The sub runs equally well on a mono or stereo signal, depending on the setup. Power chains through the unit: the mains input accepts up to 2000W and can pass through up to 1500W to a downstream system, cutting down on the number of outlets an install needs.

Lockout and usage tracking.
Independent lockout codes for the LCD screen and the app, keeping accidental changes off the table mid-show. An onboard usage-hour counter, resettable with a code from your dealer.

The MYOS18ASub is an active subwoofer fitted with an 18″ driver in a bandpass-loaded enclosure and a 1000 W RMS (2000 W peak) Class D amplifier, adding low-end reinforcement to any installation or show, up to a maximum SPL of 135 dB. Its onboard DSP goes well beyond a simple level control: Enforce mode boosts the low frequencies for extra impact where it counts, while Cardioid and Endfire modes let you shape the subwoofer’s directivity, cutting stage bleed or limiting how far the low end carries behind the system.

An integral metal grille and textured polyurea finish protect the cabinet, two metal side handles make it easy to carry with two people, rear inserts accept four optional wheels (ATOM-WHEELS kit), and four rubber feet keep it stable on the ground.

Two inputs and two outputs for simple daisy-chaining.
The MYOS18ASub features two line-level inputs on combo XLR/jack 6.35 connectors, and two direct XLR outputs: output 1 carries the signal from input 1, output 2 carries the signal from input 2, so the incoming signal can easily be sent on to another amplification system. This makes it possible to couple the MYOS18ASub directly with other active speakers, other powered systems, or with an amplifier driving passive speakers.

A natural pairing with speakers from the MYOS range.
Paired with a MYOS08A, MYOS10A, MYOS12A or MYOS15A, the MYOS18ASub forms a compact system with it, capable of covering the full spectrum, from deep bass to high frequencies. The subwoofer’s X-OVER setting (60/80/100/120/150 Hz) and the speaker’s adjustable high-pass filter (80, 100 or 120 Hz) are set to the same value for a seamless transition between the two elements. A 36 mm socket on top of the subwoofer accepts a coupling pole to position the speaker directly above it, on a single footprint on the ground, for a setup that’s quick to deploy.

The MYOS18ASub’s DSP is controlled directly from the rear-panel display and push-rotary knob, no app or Bluetooth needed: turning the knob without pressing it adjusts the subwoofer’s level directly (from MUTE to +10 dB), while pressing it opens up the advanced settings. The mode menu offers two behaviors: Normal for standard front-of-house use, and Enforce to boost the low frequencies for extra impact. The X-OVER menu sets the upper limit of the frequencies reproduced by the subwoofer itself (60/80/100/120/150 Hz), matched to the paired speaker’s high-pass filter.

Cardioid and Endfire: shaping low-end directivity.
The location menu allows, in addition to Normal mode, two MYOS18ASub units to be configured in Cardioid or Endfire to steer the direction of the low end. In Cardioid, the subwoofers cut how much low end reaches behind the array and onto the stage, reducing unwanted bleed for performers. In Endfire, the subwoofers are lined up one behind the other to focus the low end toward the audience and reduce spill to the sides. Both configurations rely on the built-in delay, which sets a delay time in ms, meters or feet to align the subwoofers, and a polarity switch that reverses the signal on one of the two units: two complementary settings for fine-tuning the acoustic sum between the subwoofers and achieving the desired directional effect.
