With powerful beams and impeccable reliability, the energy stayed at its peak all night long.

IP65 Is a Game-Changer for Outdoor Use

With an IP65 rating, these moving head lights don’t require the usual precautions for outdoor use. Weather is no longer a factor in production: no need to bring a tarp, and no need for emergency takedown at the first sign of rain. For an event that takes place partly outdoors, this means one less constraint in the schedule—and one less risk to the equipment.

What’s Inside a VANTA SPOT

Behind the beam is a 300 W LED source and a motorized zoom ranging from 4.5° to 39.4°, controllable via DMX: the same unit can switch from a narrow beam to a wide wash without changing projectors. It delivers 32,502 lux and features two gobo wheels, a rotating prism, and a motorized frost filter.

Source: 300 W LED

DMX-controlled motorized zoom: 4.5° → 39.4°

Intensity: 32,502 lux

Gobos: 8 fixed and 8 rotating interchangeable glass gobos

Effects: 3-facet rotating prism, motorized frost filter

Protection: IP65, for indoor and outdoor use

VANTA SPOT or VANTA BEAM?

The two fixtures share the same chassis and the same 300 W power source, but they serve different purposes. The VANTA SPOT creates effects: wide zoom, gobos, prism. The VANTA BEAM cuts through: narrow beam, 176,385 lux, 13 static gobos, and two combinable rotating prisms. Our comparison details what sets them apart.

Credits

Event: Beleuvenissen — Club Vismarkt

Production: RAVE Productions

Rental Partner: GR8T — Complete Eventing

Photos and source text: © JB Systems.
