The MYOS12A is a 2-way active speaker in a 12\u2033 format, built for sound reinforcement in large-capacity venues, concerts, multi-purpose halls, or any setup that calls for real headroom. Its 90\u00b0 x 60\u00b0 dispersion covers a wide audience area from a single point source, while its asymmetric shape makes it just as much at home on a pole as it is on the floor as a stage monitor. With a total amplification of 1000 W RMS, it delivers up to 128 dB of sound pressure.<\/p>\n

Hybrid amplification, built for balance.<\/strong>
The MYOS12A pairs a 500 W RMS Class D amplifier for the low-frequency driver with a 500 W RMS Class AB amplifier for the compression driver, each transducer matched to the amplification best suited to its frequency range. Total output reaches 1000 W RMS (2000 W peak), with a frequency response of 50 Hz \u2013 20 kHz and a crossover point set at 1.75 kHz.<\/p>\n

The enclosure is built from reinforced 15 mm plywood, a material chosen in professional audio for its rigidity and its ability to damp unwanted resonance, keeping the sound clean under sustained use. Its asymmetric shape is a deliberate design choice: set flat, the cabinet acts as a stage monitor angled toward the performer; set upright, it becomes a PA speaker. Twelve M10 inserts and a tilting base, adjusted by two buttons on either side, cover both pole-mount and rigging setups, a pair of metal side handles is built in for two-person carrying, an integral metal grille and textured polyurea finish protect the cabinet, and four rubber feet keep it stable on the ground.<\/p>\n

The MYOS12A comes with two independent inputs, each with its own level control: a MIC\/LINE input on a combo XLR\/jack connector, and a second line-level input on XLR. That’s enough to plug in a microphone and a line source at once and balance each signal right at the speaker, with no external mixer needed. The output’s LINK\/MIX switch then sends either the incoming signal unchanged, or the mix of both sources, on to another speaker or subwoofer.<\/p>\n

Paired with a MYOS15ASub<\/a> or MYOS18ASub<\/a> subwoofer, the MYOS12A forms a system that covers the full spectrum, from deep bass through to the top end. The MYOS12A’s adjustable high-pass filter (80, 100 or 120 Hz) and the subwoofer’s own X-OVER setting (60\/80\/100\/120\/150 Hz) are set to the same value for a seamless handover between the two units. The subwoofer features a top-mounted 36 mm socket for a coupling pole, letting the MYOS12A sit right above it on a single point on the floor, a setup that’s quick to deploy for outstanding sound performance.<\/p>\n

A complete DSP to adapt to every context.<\/strong>
The onboard DSP is controlled directly from the rear-panel display and push-rotary knob, no app or Bluetooth needed. The Mode menu offers 4 preset EQ curves (Normal, Live, Club, Speech) to match the sound to the context, while Location corrects the response for how the speaker is positioned: pole-mounted, as a stage monitor, or wall-mounted. Bass and treble each adjust independently from -10 dB to +10 dB, an adjustable high-pass filter (80, 100 or 120 Hz, or off) tunes the MYOS12A to work alongside a paired subwoofer, and the front LED can be set off, solid blue, or blue switching to red when the limiter kicks in. A Reset function restores factory settings in one step.<\/p>\n
