The CIRRUS benchmark is taking it to the next level.<\/strong>
The BTX-CIRRUS 3 succeeds the BTX-CIRRUS II<\/a> with significant improvements across the three key areas that matter on tour: light output, movement speed, and native network integration. Nineteen 60 W RGBL LEDs replace the previous generation for superior performance, and the pan\/tilt\/zoom motors handle higher speeds without losing precision. Generous range of motion\u2014540\u00b0 pan and 210\u00b0 tilt\u2014ensures complete stage coverage with no blind spots. <\/p>\n

A brightness that holds its own in broad daylight.<\/strong>
28,137 lux at 5 m in a narrow beam (4.6\u00b0 field), up to 78,159 lux at 3 m. The zoom covers a beam angle of 4.5\u00b0 to 45.9\u00b0 (corresponding to a field of view of 6.2\u00b0 to 59.4\u00b0), ranging from a precise spot to a wide wash with no break in rendering between the two extremes. <\/p>\n

Full pixel mapping, with built-in shape effects.<\/strong>
Each LED is individually addressable: in addition to global RGBL control, a dedicated pixel mode (RGB on 57 channels or RGBL on 76 channels) allows you to control the 19 LEDs one by one, organized into three concentric zones (1 central zone, 2 rings of 6 and 12 LEDs). The \u201cShapes\u201d mode adds preprogrammed shape effects with independent selection, speed, offset, and color settings for each ring, controllable directly via DMX without requiring a media server or external mapping software. <\/p>\n

A library of calibrated colors.<\/strong>
More than 60 built-in color macros reproduce calibrated gel references (LEE\/Rosco numbering system: Bastard Amber, Fire, Steel Blue, Congo Blue, etc.), supplemented by a linear CCT fade from 2700 K to 8000 K and a tungsten emulation (redshift\/amber drift) that can be activated via DMX: the light gradually turns redder as the intensity decreases, just like a filament projector\u2014a real asset for mixed LED\/halogen installations in theater.<\/p>\n

Three fan modes, one for each operating scenario.<\/strong>
Silent mode slightly reduces light output to ensure silent operation, designed for theaters and film sets. Auto mode continuously adjusts fan speed based on temperature, providing a standard balance between performance and quiet operation. Full mode maximizes cooling and brightness for festival stages where power takes precedence over quiet operation. The selection can be made via DMX or directly through the unit\u2019s menu. <\/p>\n

Native network connectivity.<\/strong> Built-in WDMX (
), compatible with CRMX as well as W-DMX G4S and G3, Art-Net, and sACN as standard: the BTX-CIRRUS 3 connects directly to an existing network infrastructure without an external converter, while retaining a standard 5-pin XLR DMX input\/output for wired installations. Five DMX modes, ranging from 24 to 100 channels depending on the desired level of control (Standard, Shapes, Extended, Extended RGBL, Full). <\/p>\n

RDM: Patch without taking out the ladder.<\/strong>
In addition to standard RDM addressing, the BTX-CIRRUS 3 allows you to remotely configure the starting DMX address, channel mode (personality), and pan\/tilt reversal directly from the RDM console. This makes it possible to prepare and deploy the patch for an entire fleet of moving head lights without having to climb up to each unit individually. <\/p>\n

Designed for use on tour.<\/strong>
2.8-inch color touchscreen with automatic display rotation, ensuring the screen is always oriented correctly regardless of the mounting position. Internal battery allows you to make adjustments without plugging the device into an outlet. The LED\u2019s PWM frequency is adjustable (1,200 to 6,000 Hz) for flicker-free operation, ensuring that any risk of image flicker is eliminated during filming or video recording. Selectable dimming curves (linear, square, S-shaped) to tailor the fade effect to the desired result. <\/p>\n

Connectors and Installation.<\/strong>
Seetronic 5-pin XLR inputs\/outputs (convertible to 3-pin XLR via the optional BT-XLR5TO3 COMBIKIT<\/a> ), compatible with Seetronic TRUE-1 power supply, with daisy-chain capability to simplify installation on a rig with multiple units. Omega brackets included for quick mounting. An optional 60 \u00d7 80 cm flight case, the MOVING HEAD CASE 4 Mk2<\/a>, holds 2 units for transport. Firmware updates are possible via the optional FIRMWARE UPDATER 3<\/a> (part number B04389). <\/p>\n
