Magnetic field meter.
The field strength meter has been designed to ensure that magnetic loop systems are installed and certified to the new IEC 60118-4 standard. When these standards are met, the user’s comfort will be the same wherever he or she is using the T-position prosthesis.
BM-Control allows you to commission a system and certify its compliance.
To do so, please follow the procedure for accepting magnetic loops included in the appendix.
You can then fill out the certificate of compliance.
This manual and ergonomic measuring instrument has two calibrated measuring functions and two types of filters to remove background noise and magnetic field strength. Using a headset, the BM-Control allows you to listen to and control the installation of your magnetic loop.
