BTI-SPECTRABLAST

Behaves just like a halogen blinder.
The BTI-SPECTRABLAST is a 380 W full color LED audience blinder built around an emulated redshift / amber drift effect: as the intensity dims, the light warms and reddens progressively, exactly the way an incandescent filament does at the tail end of a fade. That detail, invisible on a spec sheet but instantly recognizable to the eye, is what separates a convincing LED blinder from one that stays flat and “artificial” at every intensity. The SPECTRABLAST reproduces this behavior natively, with no complex setup, so it drops into a mixed LED/halogen rig without any visual mismatch. The effect stays optional: it can be switched off to keep a stable, neutral white even at the lowest levels, whenever the halogen look isn’t what you’re after.

A housing built for indoors and out.
The SPECTRABLAST sits in a rugged die-cast aluminum housing. Its IP65 rating means it’s safe for outdoor use, exposed to the weather, while working just as well on an indoor rig: the same fixture covers both, with no separate version to manage depending on where it’s installed. powerCON TRUE1-compatible in/out, weatherproof 5-pin XLR in/out, convertible to 3-pin XLR with the optional BT-XLR5TO3 KIT. Built-in universal 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz power supply. The PROJECTOR CASE 9, a 120 × 60 cm flight case for ten fixtures, is available as an option for transport.

Modular rigging built for creativity.
BTI-BLINDER1 SPLICE CONNECTOR units let multiple blinders be mechanically assembled into lines, circles, squares, or any other layout your imagination comes up with. BTI-BLINDER1 CLAMP CONNECTOR units mount those assemblies straight onto truss. The optional OMEGA BRACKET SMALL offers a conventional hanging mount. The optional BTI-SPECTRABLAST BOWENS adapter opens up a whole range of photographic reflectors and modifiers for even more creative freedom. The SPECTRABLAST uses the same SPLICE and CLAMP connectors as the BTI-BLINDER1 FX: the two models mix freely on the same rig.

A rich RGBALC color engine.
The 380 W RGBALC LED engine delivers excellent CRI, with the redshift / amber drift effect described above available at all times and independent control over every color. CCT presets from 1500 K to 8500 K, covering everything from a strongly warm white to a neutral one.

Full control, no extra hardware required.
5 DMX modes, both 8-bit and 16-bit, from 1 to 12 channels depending on the level of detail needed. A dedicated control channel lets you remotely drive the “red shift” effect, dimmer speed and curve, pixel order, and more. RDM gives access to channel mode, DMX addressing and temperature monitoring. OLED display with touch buttons for straightforward setup. No dedicated controller needed: the system runs fully standalone, with easy daisy-chaining across multiple units.
