Ami08

A rack-mountable matrix, ready for installation.
The Ami08 is an 8×8 digital audio matrix in a 19″ 1U rack-mount format, with built-in mounting brackets for immediate installation in a rack. Its 8 balanced inputs and 8 balanced outputs on Euroblock connectors, adjustable input gain up to 48 dB, and 48V phantom power allow you to connect microphones, line-level sources, and amplifiers without any adapters. The front-panel display shows the matrix’s IP address, its name, and the VU meters for the inputs and outputs, providing immediate visual monitoring of the setup.

A powerful DSP for custom processing.
The Ami08 features an ADI SHARC 21489 processor and a DSP that is fully configurable via AmiControl: Automix, echo and ambient noise suppression, parametric and graphic equalizers, delay, gate, compressor, limiter—independent and precise processing on every input and output. The 16 exportable presets allow you to replicate an identical configuration across multiple locations in just a few seconds.

An interface tailored to your customer.
The Ami08 is configured via AmiControl on Windows and then controlled on a daily basis from Windows, Android, or iOS. The installer can freely customize the control interface for the end user: selecting which functions are accessible, customizing the design with the client’s logo and colors, and arranging the faders and buttons according to the client’s actual needs.

Connectivity, GPIO, and professional protocols.
Built-in USB 2-in/2-out sound card for direct recording. The 8 GPIO pins, configurable as inputs or outputs, enable the integration of automation systems, sensors, and third-party equipment. Control is provided via RS232, RS485, and UDP.

The Ami08D—the same matrix, with Dante added.
The Ami08D is the Dante version of the Ami08: same 8×8 analog I/O, same DSP features and AmiControl software, plus an independent 8×8 Dante interface—8 additional digital audio channels via a single RJ45 cable.
