To compensate for a lack of line power or a voltage drop due to a long cable length, you need to be able to boost the power supply. To do this, use a junction box to separate the DMX output from the hybrid cable at the end of the line, and isolate the power supply. A new mains supply can then be injected into one or more chains of projectors on hybrid connectors at the box outlet, as shown in the figure below.
