The VANTA SPOT offers maximum versatility thanks to its 4.5° to 39.4° motorised zoom. In narrow mode, it produces powerful beams (32,502 lux at 5 m). In wide mode, it projects detailed gobos over large surfaces. Its two gobo wheels (8 fixed + 8 rotating) offer unrivalled creative richness: textures, logos, complex patterns, rotation effects. The 3-facet prism adds an extra dimension to the projections, widening the projection angle even further, while the frost filter gives a result close to a wash moving head.
To put it simply, a moving head like the VANTA SPOT gives access to a wide palette of effects. Narrow or wide beams, shaped by fixed or rotating gobos, with or without a prism or frost, all enhanced by a broad colour palette. The VANTA BEAM is designed to create spectacular dynamic effects with its ultra-narrow 2.5° beam producing 176,385 lux at 5 metres. Its two combinable prisms (8 and 16 facets) multiply the beam into multiple rotating rays, perfect for sweeping the stage, the audience or the event space. The motorised frost also gives a result close to a wash moving head for smooth transitions.
Broadly speaking, the VANTA BEAM is above all a dynamic effect that builds its impact on the show through very high brightness and fast movements. Its narrow beam does not cover a large surface, but it creates strong contrast with the other fixtures. Using smoke or haze, even light, is almost essential to get the most out of a moving head like the VANTA BEAM.

RECOMMENDATIONS
How many moving heads does my show need?
The number of moving heads depends on your set-up and the impact you are after. We can nevertheless share a few tips from our experience:
Two moving heads are worth far more than twice one
Unless your scene is designed around a single fixture, the value of the VANTA BEAM and VANTA SPOT comes from their number and placement.
From two moving heads upwards, you gain synchronised or deliberately offset movements, and colour and effect sequences.
Visual impact and possibilities then grow with the number of fixtures.
On a dance floor, think square
Whatever the shape of the floor, plan at least four sources positioned in a square (or rectangle): the beams cross and surround the dancers.
The goal: everyone sees effects, wherever they are on the floor.
With 4 VANTA SPOTs, on stands or on Totems, you are sure to cover a large area while enjoying a wide palette of effects.
In a multi-purpose venue, four above the stage
The budget decides the number of fixtures, but a few rules help optimise the lighting rig of a multi-purpose performance venue.
Aim for a minimum of four VANTA SPOTs spread above the stage: they cover the space and the surfaces with their structured beams and wide projection.
Outdoors, it all depends on smoke
While the VANTA SPOT and VANTA BEAM moving heads benefit from high power (300W LED) and IP65 certification for normal outdoor operation, their many effects depend entirely on whether or not there is smoke or fog.
Ambient humidity can certainly help capture light in three-dimensional space, but in fine weather you will need a powerful smoke machine for the beams to show properly.
STANDALONE MODES
Create shows without a console.
Both VANTA moving heads include powerful standalone programmes that automatically generate evolving light shows without needing a DMX controller. The built-in microphone picks up the music and times the movements, colour changes and gobo rotations to the rhythm, creating a dynamic atmosphere perfectly synchronised with the beat. In wired (via DMX cable) or wireless (via built-in WDMX G4) master/slave mode, one fixture becomes the master and automatically synchronises all the slaves: movements, colours and effects work together in perfect coherence to create a coordinated show without programming.
This feature is ideal for mobile DJs, small events, temporary installations or situations where connecting a DMX console is impractical. Simply power up the moving heads, activate standalone mode on the master, and the show starts instantly, responsive to the music and visually coherent. For permanent installations (clubs, bars, multi-purpose venues), we recommend using a DMX controller, wired or wireless, to tailor the show to your wishes and your venue.
