Eight zones, a single 1U unit.
The AMP150.8H meets a specific need: providing sound to a large number of small, independent zones without having to use multiple amplifiers. Schools, multi-department stores, office buildings with numerous offices or hallways: wherever the number of zones takes precedence over power per zone, the AMP150.8H packs eight amplified channels into a single 1U rack unit weighing 5 kg.

Eight channels, total control.
Each channel delivers 150 W on a 70 V or 100 V line, with independent voltage selection per channel on the rear panel. Level adjustment is performed channel by channel, also on the rear panel, for precise calibration of each zone without affecting the others. Note: The 150 W per channel rating applies when the unit is not under full load; when all eight channels are driven simultaneously, each delivers up to 135 W RMS. Three LED indicators per channel (signal, clip, protection) provide immediate visual feedback on the status of each line, which is useful for both operation and maintenance.

Measurable sound quality.
THD+N below 0.1% ensures a faithful signal even at full power, with no audible coloration in either vocals or music. A signal-to-noise ratio greater than 95 dB ensures that silence remains silent between announcements. A damping factor greater than 200 controls speaker movement for clear sound reproduction, even at the end of a 100 V line.

Connectivity and Integration.
Eight inputs and eight outputs via Euroblock connectors, with the same format as the rest of the AMP H Series lineup: an installer familiar with one model in the series is familiar with them all. Short-circuit, open-circuit, thermal, overcurrent, ultrasonic, and RF protection included as standard. Fan-cooled, 220–240 V AC power supply.

The AMP150.8H is part of the Audiophony PA AMP H Series, available in 1-, 4-, or 8-channel configurations, ranging from 150 to 500 W per channel.

Compatible Speakers
