AMP500.4H

Four zones, high power per channel.
The AMP500.4H is designed for installations where each zone requires substantial power: large retail spaces, restaurants with outdoor seating areas, and public venues with large floor areas. Four independent channels each deliver up to 500 W on a 70 V or 100 V line, with independent voltage selection per channel on the rear panel and volume control per channel on the front panel.

Integrated priority and monitoring.
Beyond amplification, the AMP500.4H features control logic designed for operational use: a priority TEST input, activatable via a dry contact on the PRI terminal, allows an announcement to be instantly broadcast to all zones. The FAIL (5 V fault output) and DIS (deactivation) contacts relay the amplifier’s status to an external monitoring system, which is useful in installations where a failure must be detected remotely.

Measurable sound quality.
THD+N of less than 0.1% ensures a faithful signal even at full power, with no audible coloration in either vocals or music. A signal-to-noise ratio exceeding 95 dB ensures that silence remains silent between announcements. A damping factor exceeding 200 controls the speaker’s movement for crisp sound reproduction, even at the end of a 100 V line.

Upgradable to Dante.
The AMP500.4H supports the optional AMP-DANTE4 card, which switches the four channels to the Dante audio network via two redundant RJ45 ports. An analog amplifier today, ready for a networked installation tomorrow—without changing any hardware.

Dante Option

The AMP-DANTE4 card.

It routes the amplifier’s four channels to the Dante audio network via two redundant RJ45 ports. It is installed in the rear rack without replacing the amplifier.

Connectivity and Integration.
One Euroblock connector per channel for input and two for output (wired in parallel), with the same form factor as the rest of the AMP H Series lineup. Short-circuit, open-circuit, thermal, overcurrent, ultrasonic, and radio-frequency protection are included as standard. Variable-speed cooling fan, 62.5 dB at 1 m, 220–240 V AC power supply.

Compatible Speakers

All Audiophony PA 70/100 V line-level speakers connect directly to the Euroblock outputs on the AMP H amplifiers. The total power per line simply needs to remain below the channel’s power rating.
